INSTRUCTION & PROCEDURE
A. Set-up Procedures
1) Place the fountain on a smooth and level surface near an electrical socket before using.
2) Turn the knob to "heat" position to start the heater of the fountain.
3) Let the unit warm up for at least 3 - 5 minutes before adding melted chocolate. (REFER ON HOW TO MELT THE CHOCOLATE)
4) Turn the knob to "heat & flow" position to operate the motor of the fountain.
5) Carefully pour melted chocolate into the base bowl.
6) The melted chocolate should be drawn under the tower and be carried up to the tower by the auger.
7) Chocolate should flow from the top of the tower and flow over the sides evenly to the next tier and so on.
CAUTION : The appliance must be level to ensure proper sheeting of the chocolate. To prevent clogging the flow of the chocolate, constantly check for food bits that have sunk to the bottom of the base bowl
B. Chocolate Melting Procedures
1) The fastest way to prepare chocolate for the fountain is by melting the Fountain Chocolate in the microwave.
2) Put Fountain Chocolate in a microwave-safe container.
3) Place container into microwave for 60 seconds at half power or on defrost setting
4) Stir Fountain Chocolate to soften the chocolate pieces.
5) Repeat step 2 and 3 until chocolate is melted completely.
C. Cleaning Instruction
1) Turn off the switch and unplug from the power socket before cleaning.
2) Allow parts to COOL before touching the appliance as the tower, auger and base can get very hot up to 45*C.
3) Pour away the remaining chocolate from the base bowl into a disposable bag. (WARNING : POURING MELTED CHOCOLATE INTO SINK OR DRAIN WILL CLOG THE DRAINAGE SYSTEM)
4) When the appliance has cooled, use a warm damp sponge, kitchen towel or cloth to wipe off the remaining chocolate in the base bowl.
5) Remove the tower and auger.
6) Wipe off the remaining chocolate on the tower and auger with paper towels.
7) Dip tower and auger in hot water for 5 minutes, then wash with warm soapy water, rinse and dry.
8) Clean the outside of the unit with non-abrasive towel and allow to dry.
CAUTION : Do not immerse the unit into water
